If you pay your rent with Universal Credit, you must update your online journal with your new rent figure this April, to avoid the risk of losing money. 

We have sent you a letter with your new rent figure. From Tuesday 1st April, you will need to log into your UC Online Journal and update your new rent figure on your account. 

Follow the instructions in your to-do list to update your housing costs and change it to your new rent figure. 

If you manage your Universal Credit over the phone, you’ll need to call the Department of Work and Pensions on 0800 328 5644.
